Multi Environments

MAKE. BLUE.

We took on this challenge proposed by a client who lives alone but loves to receive friends. Therefore, the main need is for a space that contemplates it individually, but that can be expanded when bringing people together.

We start with the TV room. It's a schedule she loves to do during her routine, but it doesn't take up so much space. A beautiful and comfortable sofa that she already had was the starting point. Then, we suspended an Ikea piece of furniture, which was positioned on the floor, and added a wooden panel. The environment was totally delimited and inviting! To finish off with personality, we made this blue painting together with her - a color she loves to have in the decoration - and it didn't leave anything to be desired in any art gallery.

With this arrangement, there was enough space left to spruce up in the dining room, where she really enjoys being with friends and family. We opted for a retractable table, in the oval shape, which can be extended according to the number of people and, in everyday life, does not take up the space it needs to move around in comfort. A great solution for places where two proposals need to coexist.

Still thinking about optimizing the space, we reused an old china cabinet that already existed in the decoration, however, we customized it as follows: using only half of the furniture and in the suspended format. Underneath it we placed a shelf in exactly the same material as the furniture where the television was, making a perfect combination.

This transformation definitely made the house more functional, attractive, and beautiful and, once again, we were able to reuse, customize and even create most of the items we used in the project. See below how the place looked before...
