Many people have a room at home that has no apparent use. This was the case of the client project "Cantinho Alemão" - this is how we call such a space in Brazil. The space, empty, with photos and plants was underused, despite having great potential.
We decided to renovate the area in the way we liked the most: using much of what the customer already has, without excessive spending and reusing part of the material.
The main idea was to expand the kitchen space, so that it becomes cozy for meals, cooking with friends.
We start with the quilted lining. He brought the atmosphere of comfort and sophistication to the environment. The color chosen purposely contrasts with the pink tone we put on the wall.
To further optimize the location, we made bespoke benches. But not just banks. They are topped storage boxes that can be taken out at any time. Why not do something versatile?
Finally, we positioned the shelves and placed a table, with two chairs that already belonged to the client. Subtle changes is that still room has become one of the dearest in the house.
